Ben gets a visit from the Tooth Fairy

Ben has been carrying around the tooth fairy pillow that my mom made him for months.  And finally, on Monday, his first tooth came out.  He was so proud when he discovered that he received $1 (which actually was $5…imagine his excitement when my parents pointed that out) and hasn't removed the money from the pillow since the trade was made.  

The cutest part is that earlier in the day Ben's best buddy lost his first tooth, too.  

The tooth fairy had a very busy night in Southlake!

Goodbye Tonsils & Adenoids

Sweet Grace had her tonsils and adenoids removed on Monday by Dr. Bryan.  She was super nervous (as were mom and dad) prior to the surgery.  The hospital nurses and doctors took great care of her and only a few hours after surgery began, we were home.  She still has quite a bit of pain in her throat but she's eating and drinking more each day.  We love you, Grace!

Every girl needs to feel her best before surgery.  Grace loved her first mani and pedi.

Oklahoma 3v3 Tournament

Scott, Sam and Ben took a road trip to Oklahoma last weekend.  Sam was participating in a 3v3 tournament with some of his Fever teammates.  Unfortunately, they didn't win the top prize but they had a great time hanging out on the road together.

Fire Station Obsession

Graham is completely obsessed with firetrucks and firemen.  He could hardly contain his excitement at a friend's birthday party this past weekend!

We enjoyed another spectacular week in Florida this summer.  This year Mimi, Pop and Jim all came along.  We enjoyed many wonderful mornings on the beach, afternoons in the pool and walks down 30A.  It was a wonderful week that we will never forget!

Last night we enjoyed an amazing night in Town Square.  Live music, army men, beach balls, balloon animals and bounce houses.  Sounds like the perfect night for this crew.  Happy 4th, everyone!

Fridays at the Movies

We bought summer movie passes through Sam's school this year and have been enjoying a new movie every Friday morning.  Last Friday we saw Despicable Me 2 and the kids were thrilled to see a rather large minion outside the theatre waiting to great them.  Happy Summer!

Sunflower Fields

The kids and I noticed large fields of sunflowers off I-35 on our way to meet the Sheehan's in Austin.  Most were taller than Sam and I.  It was quite a sight to see!

Austin Fun!

Pat and Aimee had all of the kiddos in Austin for 5 days last week.  The adults survived and the children had a blast!  Swimming, museums, mexican food and new toys.  Lucky kids!
