Easter Fun in Palestine!

Ben's Big Toy Idea

Ben's task in Quest was: create a game for children and figure out the marketing plan. He created the entire game himself, created a video & then presented it to a class of kindergarteners (who ultimately chose who won Best in Show).

Ben did an amazing job AND end up getting the most popsicle (vote) sticks from the kindergarten class. I can't wait to see what you do next!

Spring Break Fun!

We headed into Spring Break exhausted! So, we just wanted a week of zero agenda, zero waking up early...with a little what do we want to do today fun. We hiked and bounced and painted pottery and escaped a few rooms. The kids had been begging to try hibachi so we met Uncle Jim for some grilled in front of you fun. It was a great week.

Basketball Fun

All of The Sheehan Four played basketball in the Winter/Spring. Ben & Graham were on the same team, Grace on an all girls Rockenbaugh team & Sam with his Eubanks buddies.

We had a blast cheering them on. They are all scrappy players who are not afraid of stealing the ball. See...having so many siblings becomes a perk at a certain point.

Grace's team ending up winning it all for her Division.

Cotillion!

For months Sam attended Cotillion classes. He dreaded going. When I asked what he learned, he would say, "how to dance". Once he got in my car with a bag of candy. He won it for being the fastest person to set a table correctly. But that's pretty much all I knew about the experience.

Then came the Grand Ball at Texas Motor Speedway. These boys & girls, dressed in their tuxes and white dresses, were amazing to watch. They danced and ate and tried to avoid eye contact with each other. Ha ha.

Sam, we know it wasn't how you would have chosen to spend your Sunday afternoons. But I'm proud of you for sticking with it. You looked handsome dancing your tux.
