Coronavirus = Homeschooling 4 Kids

The day we got home from Sam's surgery, we decided to isolate until we knew what was happening with the coronavirus in the DFW area. Well...things got worse and today marks a week of being in isolation. It's definitely a new norm.

To make things even crazier, school has now been postponed indefinitely (wow).

Yesterday, our amazing school district kicked off their online curriculum. I never in a million years thought I would be homeschooling our children. Cue the wine.

I had set-up a cute schoolroom upstairs...but I forgot about our crippled child. So, we've taken over the dining room until Sam can make it upstairs.

We're definitely missing our old way of life but we are making the best of this slowed down way of life.

Sam's Knee Surgery

On March 17th (after 6 weeks of waiting), Sam had his surgery to repair the ACL and meniscus tear at the Scottish Rite Hospital.

7 hours after arriving at the hospital, he is on his way home!

The unveiled knee.

He is being a real trooper. I love his positive attitude and determination!
