Incoming Rockenbaugh Kindergarten Students

Today I hosted 9 of my favorite incoming Rockenbaugh students (and one little sister/neighbor) for a playdate at our house. Three sets of twins. I adore these kids & their parents and we're all looking forward to a great year together next year. Go Dragons!

Memorial Day Fun

Our sweet neighbors, the Wheelers, invited us to a Memorial Day celebration on Monday. We had a great time celebrating with sno cones and water slides!

First Day of Summer! Dallas Aquarium

It was the first day of summer for the twins and we wore sweatshirts the entire day. Grace, Graham, Olivia and I headed to the Dallas Aquarium for the morning. We walked and walked and walked until they couldn't walk another step.

Olivia is moving on Saturday so this was a great way to start the summer and say goodbye to one of the twins' best buds. We're going to miss that feisty little redhead so much.

Grace & Graham Graduate from Preschool

Up until this graduation, I thought the idea of a Preschool Graduation ceremony was pretty silly. I don't know if it's because this was our last of these events or the realization that all of our babies are no longer babies...but I was pretty tearful during this ceremony. I am so happy that Scott and I have survived up until this point, and with each day that passes I do see a brighter future. But honestly, deep down, I just want everything to freeze right now.

I'm so happy that Grace & Graham are going to Rockenbaugh next year. They have been looking forward to it for two years! It's going to be a great year for them.

Mother's Day Tea with Grace & Grah

It's hard to tell in this photo but I have TWO handmade hats on my head. They were made with love by Grace & Graham. They were so, so proud of their finished product.

Having fun with my sweeties at their Mother's Day Tea!

Grace & Graham's Spring Performance

Grace & Graham's class have been practicing for months to perform for their adoring crowd! They did an amazing job and it was fun to watch their class sing together as a group.

Ben's Final Lacrosse Game

It was a hot day with two back-to-back games where this amazing group of kindergarteners played against mostly 2nd graders. But they kept their heads high and hung in there with the best of attitudes and determination. I'm so proud of this group...especially my husband who is so patient and encouraging to eleven easily distracted lacrosse players. Go Dragons!

Sweet & Sassy with the Girls (and Graham)

One of Grace's best buds, Olivia, is moving and we decided to treat her to an afternoon at the spa. They all got the "Cinderella Package" which involved an updo, make-up and painted nails. Graham loves Olivia too so I brought him along. He thought the place "smelled awful" but he was a trooper. What a day!

Let's Play Sports!

So happy my parents were here on a weekend where the sun was shining. They so enjoy cheering on our little Dragons and were a huge help entertaining the others on the sidelines.

Kindergarten Round Up at Rockenbaugh Elementary

Time sure does fly by! Last week, the twins attended a Kindergarten Social at Rockenbaugh. I thought I would be skipping down the halls for them to go, but the entire night just seemed a tad depressing. However, Grace & Graham could not have been more pleased to be there and cannot wait to be at Rockenbaugh with their older brothers next year. It's going to be a great year for The Sheehan Four!

Easter Egg Dying

Easter was a crazy time because it rained, rained and rained some more. The day before Easter, we finally got outside to dye our eggs. It's one of MY favorite traditions from my childhood and I'm thrilled our kids enjoy it just as much.

It even rained Easter morning so the Easter Bunny had to hide all of the eggs inside. What a wonderful day spent with family.
