Christmas Break Fun!

We have survived Christmas break by touring the sites of Dallas. We started with a SIX hour trip to the Perot Museum. That is a serious record for our kids!

Then we went to the George W. Bush Presidential Library. I wasn't sure what the kids would think of this, but we all loved it.

Christmas Day is definitely the best day of the year. There is nothing like experiencing Christmas through the eyes of a child. Nothing can rival the anticipation, excitement & love upon seeing what is left under the Christmas tree. Merry Christmas!

We won't get to see Mimi & Pop on Christmas Day. So, we met in Waco for lunch at Chuy's. Merry Christmas, everyone!

We waited a little too long to get our tree...so we ended up with a smaller than usual one. But there was still room for all of the handmade ornaments that we have received throughout the year. That makes our tree this year perfect!

Whites in TEXAS & Arlen's Birthday

Last weekend was awesome! We got to meet Jet! And we got to celebrate Arlen's birthday together as an extended family. On Saturday, we almost froze to death at ICE! at the Gaylord. It was a memorable time. We miss having everyone so close!

Dallas 1/2 Marathon

Scott & I ran the Dallas 1/2 marathon in early December. My Mom brought the cutest cheerleaders with her to cheer on all of the runners. It was a great morning & now we can mark that off our "We're 40" bucket list.
