May Madness at Rockenbaugh

Scott and I had a blast hanging out with the Rockenbaugh students at May Madness yesterday. Bittersweet since it was Grace & Graham's first May Madness at Rockenbaugh and Sam's last one. Ben & Graham's classes even won the tug of war contests for their grades. 

What a fun way to end a wonderful school year!

Lucky

Today was a really good day. One that made my heart swell. 

Being called Mom is a wild and exhausting job...but it's also amazing and fulfilling. I feel so lucky to have met the man of my dreams over 18 years ago. I feel blessed that his desires & values in raising a family perfectly match my own. Raising four children can test a relationship. We put them & their needs before our own. Yes, it would be nice to be on a private island sans children when in fact we're at back to back sports/dance events. But I know deep in my core, that I wouldn't want it any other way. These four children are our everything. They are our legacy. They are going to do amazing things with their lives. I'm just happy to be along for the ride.

Thank you Scott, Sam, Ben, Graham & Grace for making today perfect. I love you guys with all of my heart!

Ben's King Cobra Qwest Presentation

On Monday, the 1st grade Qwest students presented the animal they selected to research for the past few months. Ben chose the King Cobra. I was so proud of the habitat that he created & how well he presented to a wild bunch of Kindergarten students. 

Picture Day at Dana's Dance Studio

Grace was so excited for picture day at her dance studio. She will be doing two dances at the dance recital in June. A military tap dance & a jazz dance to Taylor Swift's Shake It Off. 

Fierce Competitors!

The boys love to play football in the front yard. Sometimes Grace likes to join in the fun. As you would imagine, they don't take it easy on her...especially when she's the one scoring a majority of the touchdowns. Girl Power!
