Road trip to Florida

Summer is coming to an end! What better way to end a 3 month vacation (from school) than with a trip to the beach. Scott had meetings in Houston so we tagged along & made The Woodlands our 1st leg of our journey to the beach. 

Day 2 was a longer than normal drive to Biloxi, Mississippi. Our drive towards Mississippi involved lots of rain. But all that weather made for a beautiful night on the beach.

Camp Thurman

We have so many wonderful summer memories from Camp Thurman! It's one of our favorite traditions. It was weird not sending Sam this year, but Grace, Graham and Ben had a wonderful week in Pantego. Until next year, Camp Thurman.

A great time in Austin!

You never know what you can find in Austin, Texas! Mimi & Pop took Sam & Ben to a place where they learned to surf.  I can't believe they actually got up! So great.

Summer Camp at Grandma & Paw Paw

While Sam & Ben went to sleep away camp, Grace & Graham attended Grandma & PawPaw camp. They attended an art camp in the morning & then went on adventures with PawPaw (like the Tyler Zoo) in the afternoon. Towards the end of the week, they journeyed to Lake Palestine for a sleep away camp of their own. It was a great way to beat the heat!

Sleep Away Camp

Sam & Ben had the best week at Sleep Away Camp! Sam went with a bunch of best buddies from Southlake while Ben went solo & made a ton of new friends. It was a record heat wave that week & yet they still told story after story about their wonderful week in East Texas.
